Because the water pump is often driven by the timing belt, we commonly replace it at the same time. Doing the water pump replacement while we are already in there saves you future labor costs and greatly reduces the chance of a sudden coolant leak from an old pump.

Once reassembled, we top off and bleed the cooling system, then start and warm up the engine, listening closely and verifying the timing marks. Finally, we review what was replaced and give you a clear idea of when your next timing service will be due.
