Engine Diagnostics

Engine Diagnostics

When the check engine light comes on, power drops off, or the engine starts running rough, guessing at parts gets expensive fast. Our Engine Diagnostics service is designed to find the real cause the first time, using both computerized testing and old‑fashioned experience.

We start by connecting professional‑grade scan equipment to read trouble codes and live data. That gives us a picture of how the engine is burning fuel, breathing, and responding under different conditions. From there, we test individual systems instead of simply throwing parts at the problem.

If we see signs of fuel delivery trouble, we inspect and, when needed, repair fuel injectors to restore a clean, even spray pattern. For noisy, restricted, or leaking exhaust systems, we check for cracks, bad gaskets, failing catalytic converters, or broken hangers and perform the exhaust system repair needed to quiet things down and protect performance.

We also look closely at the top end of the engine. Cylinder head issues - such as warped surfaces, worn valve seats, or failed gaskets - can cause overheating, coolant loss, or misfires. Our team can handle cylinder head repair to bring compression and sealing back where they belong.

If you are feeling vibration in the cabin or hearing clunks on acceleration, we inspect engine mounts as well. Worn or broken mounts let the engine move too much, which is hard on hoses, wiring, and driveline parts.

Throughout the process, we explain our findings in plain language and lay out repair options that fit your budget and plans for the vehicle. The goal is always the same: restore smooth, reliable power so you can drive with confidence again.
