Transmission installation is not just about bolting in a replacement and hoping it works. A proper install protects the life of the transmission and helps prevent avoidable problems after the repair.


We start by verifying the transmission is the correct match for your vehicle, then remove the old unit and inspect related components such as mounts, wiring, driveshaft connections, flexplate or flywheel, and cooler lines. If something needs attention while the transmission is out, we let you know before it becomes a bigger issue.


During installation, we focus on proper fit, alignment, fluid, torque specs, and manufacturer-recommended procedures. 

Once installed, we test engagement, shift quality, temperature, and overall performance both in the shop and on the road.


Before we return the vehicle, we review what was installed, what was inspected, and how to care for the transmission during the break-in period.
